Biography
Brooke and Jeffrey Thompson have seven beautiful children whom they have homeschooled for the past 14 years. The ages of their children are 19, 18, 16, 14, 10, 7, and 8-months. Brooke has taken a lead in the homeschooling while Jeffrey has played a supportive role. Brooke has a degree in Music Education and Jeffrey in Elementary Education; however, they have both learned that degrees do not qualify them for homeschooling as much as teachable hearts that are willing to learn. Their two oldest children have graduated from high school. Jonathan, 19, works part-time for Empower 2000 and will be going full-time in the fall, while Katherine, 18, is preparing to attend Lee University to pursue a degree in Nursing. Jeffrey is the VP of Operations for Empower 2000 and has worked for God Encounters Ministries with James W. Goll for more than 15 years. Brooke and Jeffrey make their home in Spring Hill, TN.
